Example Earnings by Amounts Spent on Advertising

Let’s see how many points you can earn when you get the Chase Ink Preferred Card and use it to pay for advertising:

  • If you spend $5,000 a month on Amazon advertising in the next year, you will earn as follows:
    • 100,000 welcome offer points after the first $15,000 in spend worth $1,000 – $1,500
    • 15,000 points per month worth $150 – $225, or a total of 180,000 points worth $1,800 – $2,700 in the next year
    • So after 12 months, your total earning would be 280,000 points (100,000 from the welcome offer, plus 180,000 from the monthly advertising spend earning at 3x points per $1) for a value of $2,800 – $4,200 – pretty sweet!

    • 45,000 points per month worth $450 – $675 for the first ten months, and 15,000 points per month worth $150 – $225 in the last two months (due to the $150K 3x earning limit). or a total of 480,000 points worth $4,800 – $7,200 in the next year
    • So after 12 months, your total earning would be 580,000 points (100,000 from the welcome offer, plus 480,000 from the monthly advertising spend earning at 3x or 1x points per $1) for a value of $5,800 – $8,700 – wow!

Conclusion

The Chase Ink Preferred Card is one of the best business cards available today due to its many benefits, which are valuable to any business owner.

It is, however, uniquely valuable to Amazon sellers, especially those who spend money on advertising due to triple points earning, which can be redeemed for a value of up to 4.5% towards paid travel if you have a Sapphire Reserve card in your household.

I firmly believe every Amazon seller should be using this card as a way to maximize the return on their advertising spending through earning increased rewards.
